The AWL’s teaching philosophy is based on the principle of lifelong learning as the key component of modern scientific research.

The AWL’s mission is to help undergraduate and post-graduate students, researchers, faculty, and staff to overcome any academic writing challenges they encounter during the writing process. The AWL encourages writers to develop their academic voice and writing abilities in order to become independent and effective writers.

The AWL deals with all types of writing including research papers, abstracts, presentations, grant proposals, application essays, resumes, and cover letters.

Consultations, courses, and workshops are based on collaboration, dialog engagement, and trust.

  • You will organize and develop your ideas, polish and revise your papers via face-to-face, one-on-one consultations with professional tutors.

The AWL tutors do not translate, edit, or proofread your work. Instead, they do their best to provide you with all the necessary skills and techniques to become a better writer.
